1. Wash your hands or feet thoroughly with soap and water, then pat dry.
2. Carefully cut the very tip of the AYU HINA Mehndi cone to your desired thickness.
3. Gently squeeze the cone to draw your favourite designs on the skin.
4. Leave the mehndi to dry naturally for at least 2 to 3 hours (the longer, the better).
5. Once completely dry, gently scrape the mehndi off. Do not wash with water.
6. Apply a few drops of natural oil (like eucalyptus or mustard oil) over the design to deepen the stain. Avoid using soap on the area for 12-24 hours for the best colour development.

Is this mehndi cone safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, AYU HINA Mehndi is 100% herbal and free from harmful chemicals. However, if you have highly sensitive skin or allergies, we always recommend doing a small patch test before full application.

How long will the stain last?
With proper aftercare (avoiding soap and excess water in the first 24 hours), the rich stain can easily last 1 to 2 weeks depending on how often you wash your hands.

Why shouldn't I wash the mehndi off with water?
Washing it off with water immediately halts the oxidation process. Scraping it off and avoiding water helps the natural henna dye deepen into a beautiful dark maroon/brown colour over the next 24-48 hours.
